Direct Support Professional Ciao Household Macungie, PA 18062 As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in delivering personalized care and support to a young man in the Macungie area. This position involves working closely with the individual to support his daily living activities, promote his independence, grow peer relationships, and attend events in the community to increase social opportunities. Responsibilities Assist and teach skills with regards to daily living activities such as cleaning, meal preparation, and household chores. Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support to enhance the participants’ well-being. Ensure safety and comfort while maintaining dignity and independence. Attend events and activities in the community in order to expand social opportunities and interests and grow peer friendships. Requirements Previous experience in direct support or caregiving preferred Able to reliably commute to the job Have flexibility for afternoon or evening events Days and Times Available Saturdays and Sundays only 4-hour shifts Availability between 10:00pm – 6:00pm Pay Rate $18-21 per hour based on experience If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others, we invite you to apply today!
