Duties Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration. Monitor and record vital signs as needed, ensuring accurate documentation of health status. Implement care plans tailored to individual client needs, collaborating with healthcare professionals as necessary. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the overall well-being of clients. Uphold resident rights by respecting their privacy, dignity, and preferences at all times. Assist with mobility and physical support, including lifting clients when required. Administer first aid as needed while maintaining a safe environment for all clients. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance caregiving skills. Requirements Previous experience in caregiving or home health care is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of vital signs monitoring and basic first aid practices is beneficial. Understanding of resident rights and the ability to advocate for clients’ needs. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment. Ability to lift and assist clients safely while adhering to proper techniques. A compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others achieve their best quality of life. Certification in CPR or First Aid is a plus.
