DSP (Direct Support Professional) 4.1 4.1 out of 5 stars York, PA 17403 Seeking a dependable, compassionate, and patient Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support and work with a young female individual in York, PA., residing in a private residential home established to create and rebuild stability and care for adolescent girls, ages 12-18 . In this role, you will support the individual 1:1 by providing supervision, assisting with her volunteering opportunities, supporting her well-being, and ensuring her safety. Monday through
Friday, Hours:
4 to 5 hr per day – Flexible time , when school is out, and can be discussed . Pay $18.00 up to $19.00 per hour Responsibilities Provide necessary emotional support. Monitor and document any changes Engage in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation. Requirements Previous experience in direct support or caregiving is preferred but not mandatory. Redirecting and demonstrating a kind, gentle, yet firm demeanor toward this young female is essential Strong communication skills to effectively interact with her and her team members.
