Job Description
⚐ ⚑ ⚑ Personal Care Assistant compensation: Pay is $22.00 an hour paid through my payroll service. Seeking a mature, compassionate, reliable female Personal Care Assistant to help with all daily activities of daily living. No experience needed, just the ability to help. A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record is required.
ABOUT ME
I am an energetic, independent woman who lives in North Kingston, RI in an apartment. My apartment is open and cheerful and I have a cat named Albert. I have Cerebral Palsy and use a power wheelchair for mobility and my iPad for communication, although once you get to know me you will be able to understand my speech. I also have an accessible van that I use for transportation.
DUTIES INCLUDE
- Transferring/assisting from bed/toilet/shower etc. to wheelchair
- Showering and dressing
- Meal prep
- Light household duties such as laundry, washing dishes, etc.
- Running errands with me such as grocery shopping
- Transporting me to events such as family gatherings, school, work (in & out of state)
SCHEDULE
Every Thursday 7AM-10PM Additional per diem hours for other shifts may be available (if another PCA needs coverage for time off or leaves their position). Other shift hours range from weekdays – 7AM-10PM and weekends 9AM-10PM.
