Earn Great Weekly Pay Work 40 hours a week or more Apply Immediately We need applicants who can work second shift assignments. Work as a Direct Support Professional at Coastal Center, Summervile SC. This is a residential care facility serving residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will work under the direct supervision of the Residential Administrator. This is an entry-level position. You will be required to provide treatment, care, and training of all residents. Provide accurate documentation of activities and comply with all written rules and regulations as outlined by SCDDSN. Ensure health and safety of each consumer. You maybe required to work overtime to ensure consumer safety. You maybe required to transport and monitor consumers to and from appointments and activities.
Job Requirements:
A high school diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have basic computer skills, must possess a valid SC driver’s license, must be physically capable of lifting, pushing, standing, stooping, kneeling and running. Must be able to work with individuals who may be physically aggressive or medically fragile. Must be able to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
