Contract (1099 Independent Contractor) Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in various settings, including primary care, urgent care, and hospice care. This role requires a strong understanding of medical protocols and the ability to work effectively with patients who have developmental disabilities or require acute pain management.

Duties Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting Help with meal preparation and feeding Provide companionship and emotional support Assist with mobility, including transferring, walking, and repositioning patients Monitor and document client’s health status and report any changes to healthcare providers Light housekeeping duties, including laundry and cleaning Provide transportation to appointments or errands, if necessary Assist with medication reminders (non-medical support) Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment for clients Requirements Previous experience in caregiving or as a Personal Care Assistant (preferred) Ability to pass a background check and provide TB test results (if required) Reliable transportation to and from client homes Compassionate, patient, and dependable with a desire to help others Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions Ability to assist with lifting and moving patients (must be physically capable) Ability to work independently as a 1099 contractor Certification or training in personal care (preferred but not always required depending on state regulations) CPR/BLS certification (preferred) Why Choose Craffiti Care?
