Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Provide medication administration as directed by healthcare professionals. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to clients’ dietary requirements. Observe and report changes in clients’ physical and emotional conditions. Support clients with mobility and transfers to ensure their safety. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients. Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality. Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation. Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop individualized care plans. Skills Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred. Knowledge of hospice care practices and patient observation techniques. Familiarity with home health services and assisted living environments. Ability to prepare meals that meet specific dietary needs. Understanding of memory care strategies to support clients with cognitive challenges. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and families.
