Caregiver/Home Health Aide Divine Hearts HomeCare Greenville, SC Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to provide essential support and care to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for those with varying needs, including elderly individuals and those with disabilities. Duties Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. Help with medication administration as prescribed by healthcare professionals. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of client care activities. Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences. Assist clients in mobility and physical activities, including lifting when necessary. Support clients with dementia care or other cognitive impairments through engaging activities. Collaborate with family members and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed. Provide assistance in assisted living environments or hospice care settings as needed. Experience Previous experience in caregiving or home health aide roles is preferred but not required. Familiarity with medical records management and documentation practices is a plus. Experience working with individuals who have developmental disabilities is beneficial. Knowledge of dementia care techniques will be advantageous for candidates. Ability to perform tasks that require physical strength, including lifting clients safely. A caring attitude and strong communication skills are essential for success in this role.
