• Grand Strand (“SHS Grand Strand”) in-home care services offer support for seniors who wish to remain active and independent from the comfort of home.

We’re looking to add to our team and are searching for mature, compassionate individuals to assist seniors in the community. At SHS Grand Strand, Personal Home Care Aide (Non-skilled) provide services that are integral to our overall service portfolio . Personal Home Care Aide (Non-skilled HHA’s) can provide companionship as well as help with daily tasks such as light house cleaning, yardwork, medication reminders, and transportation to and from appointments or social events. In addition, they are qualified to provide personal care including, but not limited to, ambulating, bathing, grooming, feeding, dressing, toileting, taking vital signs, and skin care. • )? Our senior Home Care Aide (Non-skilled HHA’s) need to have a passion for helping seniors continue to live independently and a willingness to be trained to provide quality care. Our Personal Home Care Aide (Non-skilled) should encompass the following traits:
• Ability to relate to the aging process
• Find enjoyment helping other seniors navigate challenges that growing older can bring
• Compassionate and empathetic to the needs of the senior community
• Willing to share life stories, interests, and hobbies to build relationships All team members must meet minimum role requirements and successfully complete the pre-employment process, including but not limited to a drug screen and background check (including MVR for those engaged in transport) prior to employment.
