Direct Support Professional Pickens County Board of Disabilities and Special Needs 1308 Griffin Mill Road, Easley, SC 29640 Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate Direct Support Professional to provide care and support to individuals with disabilities. The ideal candidate will assist in daily living activities and ensure the overall well-being of our clients. Duties
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities
- Assist with personal hygiene tasks
- Monitor and document client progress and behavior
- Implement individual care plans
- Engage clients in recreational activities
- Administer medications as needed
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding Experience
- Experience in memory care, patient observation, and monitoring
- Familiarity with working with people with disabilities, dementia care, and home health services
- Strong patient care skills
