The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for residents by assisting with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being. This role requires a blend of caregiving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow care plans effectively. Responsibilities Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing. Implement and follow individualized care plans tailored to each resident’s needs. Support residents in medication administration as directed by healthcare professionals. Provide direct support in mobility, including heavy lifting when necessary. Ensure the safety and dignity of residents by upholding resident rights at all times. Prepare meals and assist with cooking duties as needed. Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents. Communicate effectively with nursing staff regarding any changes in resident health or behavior. Qualifications Previous experience in caregiving or as a Personal Care Assistant is preferred. Familiarity with care plans and medication administration processes is highly desirable. Experience working in a group home setting is an advantage. Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist residents with mobility challenges. Strong understanding of resident rights and commitment to providing respectful care. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
