This role plays a vital part in maintaining efficient internal communications, managing compliance systems, and supporting student success throughout their academic journey. The coordinator will manage departmental communications, including emails, call logs, CPR course scheduling, and instructor notifications. They will also coordinate the daily operations of Viewpoint Screenings and ensure student access to fulfill clinical requirements. The coordinator will guide students through the admissions and compliance processes for the CCE and Quick Jobs programs, while also supporting their access to platforms such as D2L and assisting with drug screenings, criminal background checks, and immunization requirements for clinical placement. They will issue and monitor medical screening expiration vouchers and ensure students meet all necessary clinical and compliance standards. This role also includes tracking student progress and course logistics, course setup, and ensuring alignment with AHA CPR standards and healthcare instructional best practices. In addition to instructional support, the coordinator will counsel and advise students on academic progress, program suitability, and institutional resources available to them. They will participate in audits and reporting processes by reviewing academic records for accuracy and regulatory compliance and will work closely with the internal team to ensure timely data updates and award adjustments. The role also includes assisting with new student onboarding, development of instructional materials and operational resources, and performing other duties as assigned to enhance service delivery and promote student success. This position is located on the Midlands Technical College Harbison Campus Minimum and Additional Requirements An Associate degree or higher. Preferred Qualifications Current health care certification, such as RN, CNA, CPT, CMAA.
