Home Health Aide Female Gennea Healthcare Solutions Irmo, SC 29063 Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide essential care and support to individuals in their homes. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for clients by assisting with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, and promoting their independence. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. Monitor and document patient observations, including changes in condition or behavior. Administer medications as prescribed and ensure adherence to medication schedules. Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and maintaining a clean living space. Support clients with dementia care by employing appropriate communication techniques and activities tailored to their needs. Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain confidentiality of client information. Skills Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and families. Ability to perform medication administration accurately and responsibly. Familiarity with dementia care strategies is highly beneficial.
