This role is vital in ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients, particularly those requiring memory care. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of patient care, medical terminology, and the ability to monitor vital signs. Duties Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for patients. Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure as needed. Help patients with mobility and lifting as required, ensuring their safety at all times. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to health and safety protocols. Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals regarding patient status and any changes in condition. Utilize knowledge of medical terminology to understand patient needs and assist in care planning. Participate in ongoing training to enhance skills related to patient care and memory care systems. Requirements Previous experience in a caregiving role is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided. Knowledge of memory care practices is a plus. Ability to assist with lifting patients safely and effectively. Certification in CPR is highly desirable. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with diverse populations.
