The ideal candidate will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, particularly those requiring memory care and dementia support. Responsibilities Assist clients with personal care tasks including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Reminder of medications as prescribed and ensure proper documentation of medication reminder. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences. Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental stimulation. Support clients with mobility needs, including lifting or transferring them safely as required. Monitor and report any changes in clients’ health or behavior to the supervising nurse or healthcare provider. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to health and safety protocols. Offer assistance with memory care activities designed to enhance cognitive function and recall. Requirements Previous experience in personal care, home community care, or related fields is preferred. Knowledge of medication reminder procedures and first aid practices. Familiarity with dementia care techniques and memory support strategies is a plus. Ability to lift and assist clients with mobility challenges safely. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families. Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life. Certification in First Aid or CPR is advantageous but not mandatory; training may be provided.
