- Job Summary
- As a Personal Care Assistant, you will provide essential care and support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. This role plays a crucial part in enhancing the quality of life for those requiring personal care services.
- Duties
- Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Support individuals with mobility assistance and transfers
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Help with meal preparation and feeding as necessary
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
- Experience
- Experience in providing care in settings such as Level I Trauma Center, Inpatient, or Geriatrics is preferred
- Knowledge of medical-surgical procedures and emergency medicine is a plus
- Familiarity with working in environments like Level II Trauma Centers, Teaching Hospitals, PICUs, or Clinics is beneficial
- Ability to handle diverse patient needs and demonstrate compassion and empathy in caregiving
