PCA Personal Care Assistant Innovative Home Health Care, Inc Rock Hill, SC 29730

Personal Care Assistant Duties:

• Provide assistance with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Assist with mobility and transfers, including using assistive devices as needed
• Help with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary needs and preferences are met
• Support medication management by reminding and assisting clients with taking prescribed medications
• Perform light housekeeping tasks, including tidying up living areas and doing laundry
• Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients
• Accompany clients to appointments or outings as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required
• Compassionate and patient demeanor
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Reliable transportation to travel to client’s location
