(Friday 5/16/2025) : DSP- Friday & Saturday 3P-11p DSP- Saturday & Sunday 11P-7A Overtime (when/if available) Duties As a Direct Support Professional, your responsibilities will include: Assisting individuals with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household tasks. Providing companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients. Administering medication as prescribed and ensuring proper documentation of medication administration. Supporting clients in community integration by facilitating participation in social, recreational, and educational activities. Collaborating with families, healthcare professionals, and other team members to develop and implement personalized care plans. Maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients at all times. Requirements To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications: Experience in caregiving or related fields such as home community care, home health, senior care, or patient care is preferred. Familiarity with working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities is highly desirable. Knowledge of assisted living environments and best practices in supporting individuals with disabilities is beneficial. Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to caregiving.
