In this role, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals with diverse needs, including those with autism, dementia, and other developmental disabilities. Your primary goal will be to enhance the quality of life for our clients by promoting independence and facilitating daily activities in a safe and nurturing environment. The role is a Part time role, 10 am to 2 pm Mon to Fri we pay 18$/hr. •You must have a valid Driver’s License and Proof of Insurance to work with us•Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management. Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote emotional well-being. Support individuals in developing life skills and achieving personal goals. Monitor client behavior and report any significant changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel. Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and other caregivers to ensure comprehensive care. Document client progress and maintain accurate records as required. Experience Ideal candidates will possess experience or knowledge in the following areas: Meal preparation tailored to dietary needs. Working with individuals on the autism spectrum. Assisted living environments and practices. Social work principles related to caregiving. Dementia care techniques and strategies. Experience in group home settings. Senior care practices focused on enhancing quality of life. Long-term care methodologies that support client independence. Patient observation skills to monitor health and behavior changes effectively. Memory care approaches that assist clients with cognitive challenges.
