Optometry Tech / Eyecare Assistant / Ophthalmic Technician Anderson Eyecare Hermitage, TN 37076 Anderson Eyecare is seeking a full-time or part-time Optometric Tech – Eyecare Assistant for our Hermitage, Tennessee location. Growth potential within the office is excellent for a candidate eager to expand their knowledge and skill set. Two years of eye care experience is required. Responsibilities include gathering patient medical history, conducting diagnostic testing, helping patients with insertion and removal of contact lenses, sterilizing instruments, explaining insurance benefits to patients, and communicating with doctors, staff, and patients. In addition, responsibilities may also include traditional front office responsibilities including answering phones, scheduling appointments, insurance verification, and check-in/check-out activities.
