This position involves providing compassionate care and support to clients in their daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting independence. You will work closely with clients to implement care plans tailored to their unique needs, fostering a supportive and nurturing environment. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management. Implement individualized care plans and monitor client progress, making adjustments as necessary. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, encouraging social interaction and engagement in community activities. Ensure the safety of clients by maintaining a clean and hazard-free environment. Perform light housekeeping duties as needed to support client living conditions. Assist with mobility and transportation needs, including heavy lifting when required. Maintain confidentiality of client information in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Document daily activities and any changes in client condition accurately in care logs. Experience Previous experience in patient care or caregiving is preferred but not required. Familiarity with working with individuals with disabilities is a plus. Knowledge of first aid and CPR techniques is beneficial for ensuring client safety. Experience in developing or following care plans is advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients, families, and team members.
