The ideal candidate will have experience in home health care, working with people with disabilities, and providing care for individuals with dementia or in assisted living settings. This role is crucial in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. Responsibilities Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing. Provide meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients. Support clients with mobility and transfers to promote independence. Observe and report changes in clients’ conditions to appropriate healthcare professionals. Administer first aid and CPR when necessary. Engage clients in meaningful activities to enhance their mental and emotional well-being. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients. Document care provided and maintain accurate records as required. Experience Previous experience in home health care or long-term care settings is preferred. Familiarity with dementia care practices is a plus. Experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly valued. Basic knowledge of patient observation techniques. Certification in first aid and CPR is desirable. A background in nursing or related fields can be beneficial but is not mandatory.
