• We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities in various settings such as group homes, nursing homes, and home care environments.
• Duties
• Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs) including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing
• Provide patient observation and report any changes in condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals
• Monitor vital signs and ensure individuals’ health and safety
• Engage individuals in social activities and provide emotional support
• Prepare meals and assist with meal planning if needed
• Support individuals with disabilities in achieving their goals and independence
• Maintain a clean and organized living environment
• Qualifications
• Experience in long-term care or working with people with disabilities is preferred
• Knowledge of nursing home or group home operations is a plus
• Ability to cook and prepare meals for individuals
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and patient demeanor
