Direct Support Professional-School for Autism 3.4 3.4 out of 5 stars 900 Trotwood Avenue, Columbia, TN 38401 The King’s Daughters’ School is a private, residential boarding school that serves individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism. We are seeking Direct Care Assistants to care for students with intellectual disabilities and autism in a classroom and residential setting. CPR and Handle with Care training provided.
Current openings:
Days-7am-7pm Nights-7pm-7am 3 days/nights a week Schedule rotates, some weekends required $17.50/hr Minimum requirements: At least 18 years old High school diploma or equivalent At least 1 year of experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or autism strongly preferred. Be in good health and free of mental and/or physical limitations which would interfere in dealing appropriately with the client’s handicapping conditions and behavior disorders. Clean criminal background (no felony convictions, abuse, assault, neglect convictions).
Primary responsibilities:
