The ideal candidate will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients through personalized care and assistance. This position requires a commitment to fostering independence and dignity while ensuring safety and well-being. Duties Provide direct support to individuals with disabilities in daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management. Monitor patients’ health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Assist clients with mobility, including lifting and transferring as necessary, while ensuring their comfort and safety. Engage clients in social activities and encourage participation in community events to promote socialization and inclusion. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to health and safety standards. Document care provided and progress made by clients, maintaining accurate records as required. Collaborate with family members, healthcare providers, and social workers to develop individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each client. Qualifications Previous experience in patient care or home care is preferred. Knowledge of CPR and First Aid is highly desirable. Ability to lift heavy objects safely and assist clients with physical mobility needs. Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for working with individuals with disabilities. Familiarity with patient monitoring techniques and direct support practices is an asset. A background in social work or related fields is beneficial but not mandatory. Must demonstrate patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills while working closely with clients.
