On-call only Hours vary weekly Must be available days, evenings, weekends Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated On-Call / Floater Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to provide essential support to individuals in assisted living and home care settings. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting clients with daily activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and overall well-being. This role is crucial in enhancing the quality of life for those in our care, particularly for residents with specific needs such as dementia or other health challenges. Duties Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Monitor vital signs and report any changes in the client’s health status. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the client’s social well-being. Help clients with mobility and lifting as needed to ensure their safety. Observe and document patient behavior and changes in condition. Assist with meal preparation and feeding when necessary. Support clients in engaging with their community through activities or social outings. Uphold resident rights by ensuring dignity, privacy, and respect at all times. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop personalized care plans.
