Duties As a Personal Care Assistant, your responsibilities will include: Assisting client with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing. Providing companionship and emotional support to enhance the client’s well-being. Assisting with mobility and transferring client safely. Client has no neurologic issues other than age related and can walk well for her age. Maintaining a clean and safe environment for client by performing light housekeeping duties. Supporting client with assisting with meal prep and feeding as necessary. Experience Candidates should possess the following skills and experience: Previous experience in home health, senior care, or assisted living settings is preferred. Knowledge of CPR and first aid is highly desirable. Familiarity with patient observation techniques and home community care practices. Ability to maintain cleanliness while providing care in various settings. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with family. Hours are flexible, ideal is for someone who can come 10am to 5p six days a week, but we are flexible.
