Position Overview:
As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) , you will support our persons supported with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting. You’ll help with daily living skills, promote independence, and empower individuals to thrive both at home and in the community.

Part-Time Key Responsibilities:
Provide assistance with personal hygiene, grooming, and self-care Support with meal prep, grocery shopping, and household tasks Administer medications per agency policy Follow the Individual Support Plan (ISP) and document daily progress Encourage community participation and meaningful daily choices Attend appointments, outings, and coordinate activities Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Community Integration:
Help plan and facilitate activities aligned with personal interests Support outings, family visits, and access to local events Encourage active participation in the community and meaningful engagement
Documentation & Communication:
Maintain daily notes and medication logs Record behavior data and communication updates Report concerns to the Residential Manager and collaborate with the team
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED (preferred, not required) Valid TN, KY, or AL driver’s license Strong written and verbal communication skills Satisfactory background check and driving record Ability to complete and pass all required training Passion for helping others and supporting independence
Physical Requirements:
