Position:

One-on-One Direct Support Staff (DSP) / Personal Assistant (PA) As a DSP/ (PA), you’ll work one-on-one with an individual served, ensuring their safety, well-being, and day-to-day needs are met—while encouraging skill-building, independence, and meaningful community involvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure a safe, supportive environment tailored to the individual’s needs Assist with personal care, daily living skills, and medication per agency policy Support community involvement and coordinate meaningful daily activities Advocate for individual choices and help meet ISP (Individual Support Plan) goals Maintain accurate documentation and logs related to services provided Participate in team meetings and Circle of Support (COS) planning Maintain open communication with the PA Coordinator and support staff

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required Valid TN, KY, or AL driver’s license Clear criminal background check and driving record Negative Drug Test is required Ability to read, write, and follow instructions Willingness to complete all

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs occasionally Frequent walking, standing, and manual tasks Occasional kneeling, crouching, or crawling Ready to help bring independence closer to home?
