CMT Lab Technician Job Description We are seeking a motivated and hardworking individual for the position of CMT Lab Technician. This role involves conducting laboratory analyses, including sampling, sample preparation, and analysis, adhering to specified methods and standards. The ideal candidate will be proficient in reading and understanding laboratory analysis and testing specifications. Responsibilities Conduct laboratory analysis including sampling, sample preparation, and analysis following specified methods and standards. Assist with certification audits by Army Corps of Engineers and other relevant bodies. Work after hours and some weekends to meet project requirements. Engage in physical activities such as walking through uneven terrain, standing for long periods, and lifting up to 75 lbs. Occasional overnight travel (10%) may be required. Essential Skills Proficiency in laboratory certifications and CMT laboratory practices. Understanding of construction material testing (CMT), DOT, and ACI certification standards. Strong communication skills, both written and oral. Organizational skills and proficiency in report writing. Additional Skills & Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent; preference for candidates with a two-year or four-year college degree in science or engineering. Ability to test and achieve required certifications following training. Preference for applicants with current laboratory certifications (DOT, ACI) or CMT laboratory experience.
