Duties/skills:

Draw blood Keep area clean and well stocked Order stocks and supplies as needed Answer phones, look up reports, fax reports, and file patient records Constantly assure positive patient identification Collect, transport, and send out specimen Communicate well with all customers Perform Receptionist duties Collect urine samples Perform EKGs Willing to train/float in areas where staff is needed The candidate must be willing to work in a fast past environment, able to communicate clearly to physicians, patients, and multiple personnel in person and by phone. This person must function as a team member, have strong interpersonal skills, and able to multi-task. The job requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting.

Qualifications:

High School Graduate Phlebotomy certification 1 year experience in health care setting with previous venipuncture experience. Computer experience is required Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, and bend The work schedule is Monday through Friday on days.
