Essential Functions Traveling to field sites around Alabama
Assist w/ native bee field work including setting up insect traps & sweep netting
Processing insect specimens for pinning
Assisting w/ outreach events
Collecting/Entering data into spreadsheets
Assist w/beekeeping tasks such as hive management
Honeybee box building & maintenance
Research related tasks
Assist w/outreach events

Minimum Qualifications Enrolled student at Auburn University
Interest in Entomology or related discipline
Valid U.S. Driver’s License
Ability to work outside for long periods
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications Experience in insect collection, beehives, bee collecting and data entry
Pay Rate $11.00/hour
