Medical Technologist Schedule:
Work Schedule:
- Regular work hours are 07:30am
- 4:00pm: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, including rotating weekends.
- Second Shift, work hours are 03:30pm

Midnight:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, including rotating weekends.
- Third Shift, work hours are Midnight
- 8:30 am, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, including weekends
- 7 on 7 off shift work is desired
- Other shifts at the needs of the service.
The Medical Technologist service is required Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, including weekends as required, eight hours shift basis to support testing in the Laboratory. For the MT assigned to Microbiology, including weekends and holidays.
Medical Technologist Qualifications:
Degree:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in medical laboratory science, medical technology, clinical laboratory or related science.
Education:
Graduate from a medical laboratory technician training program accredited by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS) or the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or educational program acceptable to the American Medical Technologist. Certification/registration as Medical Laboratory Technician or equivalent by the American Society for
Clinical Pathology or American Medical Technologists BLS Certification Experience:
One year of experience in a clinical laboratory as a Generalist. A generalist is defined as a Medical Technologist that can perform testing in all areas of the Clinical Laboratory, to include Chemistry, Blood Bank, Hematology, Immunology, and Urinalysis.
