FfAME provides an innovative environment to host the scientific and technological research of a small group of computational, molecular and life scientists to develop ultra-fast and high throughput diagnostic platforms to solve challenges in diagnostics and medicine. We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Lab Technician to support molecular biology research and diagnostics in a fast-paced laboratory environment. The candidate will support laboratory operations through sample preparation, data collection, data reporting, and adherence to safety and quality standards. This role is critical to ensuring accurate and timely testing, contributing to our ongoing mission to advance diagnostics through chemistry-based innovations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift frequently to meet evolving project goals and deadlines, and is comfortable working independently while adapting quickly to changing workflows. The Lab Technician will primarily conduct experiments on real-time PCR, ultra-fast PCR, and Oxford Nanopore sequencing and report on the performance of our novel chemistry solutions. This position requires a foundational understanding of molecular biology techniques, a strong attention to detail, and comfort with learning and adapting to new PCR techniques as we expand the application of our product.
Key Responsibilities:
