Job Description
Diener/Tech Prep | Lab Path | FT 9:30AM – 6:00PM Jacksonville, Florida Technicians – Clinical 50220 Reports directly to the supervisor of the assigned area. Provides autopsy services as directed by the case attending pathologist. Assists with the autopsy procedure, maintains equipment and stocks supplies used in Morgue and Gross Room. Performs ordering, accessioning, specimen processing and test preparation functions. Prioritizes duties to maximize efficiency. Disposes of waste specimens and chemicals. Provides excellent customer service with lab employees, other hospital departments and external customers.

1. Demonstrates teamwork and communicates in a professional manner with all members of the healthcare team. 2. Demonstrates the ability to learn and apply computer technologies and procedures that affect patient care.
