Leading production company looking for a Laboratory Assistant to join their team. This position is located in Gadsden County, Florida on the outskirts of Quincy. This is an opportunity for full-time employment!! Required

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 3 – 5 years of experience in Industrial Manufacturing and/or Quality Control
  • Proficient in utilizing computer software, particularly Microsoft Office Suite
  • leadership skills and the ability to provide clear direction to all levels of employees
  • Ability to lead environmental, health, and safety initiatives across the facility
  • Experience working in a fast paced and high-volume work environment.
  • Proactive “self-starter” with an attention to detail and time management skills.

    education: High School Responsibilities Essential Duties
  • Assists the Chemist with experiments related to compounds.
  • Gathers materials necessary for research and development techniques.
  • Conducts reporting to ensure process control and promotes continuous improvement.
  • Assists in the development of new products and collaborates with the production leadership team to maintain quality standards for existing chemical products through consistent quality control inspections.
  • Conducts at least four daily inspections of finished goods and documents findings on an inspection sheet.
  • Collaborates with the site Environmental, Health, and Safety team to ensure compliance and facilitate improvements.
  • Assists in maintaining adherence to current state and federal EPA and NSF registrations as required.
  • Organizes and stores all quality control retain samples in designated storage areas.
  • Assists in creating and documenting standard operating procedures for plant operational processes.
  • Assists plant operations with reporting as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
