Candidate will be conducting laboratory testing on soil, aggregate, concrete, and asphalt samples to determine material properties. Job Responsibilities Perform laboratory tests to exacting procedures, processes, and published standards. Adhere to timelines as dictated by management such that program deadlines are met. Inventory, track and organize test samples and data via computer and/or paper. Enter and process test data. Be responsible for maintaining quality standard on all projects. Job Requirements Must be extremely detail oriented and process driven. Must have the ability to communicate effectively, including understanding written and verbal instructions. Ability to study and pass certification tests after training. Willingness to occasionally work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and extended shifts as necessary to meet workflow needs. Mechanical aptitude, requiring work ranging from large saws down to dimensioning calipers. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Basic data entry computer skills required (MS Office) and demonstrate a willingness to learn new software. Previous experience in a laboratory environment is a plus, but we will train the appropriate candidates. Other Prerequisites CTQP or ACI Lab certifications a plus, but not required. High School Diploma or GED Successful completion of a physical, pre-employment drug screen and background check.
