Medical Laboratory Technician UltraHealth LLC Lehigh Acres, FL 33936 We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to perform routine clinical laboratory tests and procedures to support the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in laboratory science, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining quality and safety standards. Collect, prepare, and process biological specimens (blood, urine, body fluids, etc.) Perform routine laboratory tests in areas such as hematology, microbiology, urinalysis, chemistry, and immunology Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment Record, analyze, and report test results accurately and promptly Verify test data and ensure the validity and integrity of results Maintain strict adherence to laboratory safety procedures and infection control guidelines Monitor quality control programs and assist in quality assurance procedures Communicate critical lab values to the appropriate medical staff promptly Maintain proper documentation in the Laboratory Information System (LIS) Keep lab areas clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies Comply with all applicable regulatory requirements (e.g., CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA)
