Laboratory Samples Reception Associate

The job includes but not limited to specimen reception and inspection as well as entering data into the reporting system, recording incidences, receiving/recording consumables, receive, clean and assemble kit components, and other needed responsibilities to support

US & LATAM.

Responsibilities Follow the laboratory’s procedures for specimen handling and maintaining records of patient test results.
Adhere to the laboratory’s quality control policies and procedures.
Assemble and/or disassemble kit trays and materials as needed.
Clean and maintain the sample receiving area so that it can function in a neat and orderly manner.
Identify problems that may adversely affect test performance and either must correct the problems. Document all corrective actions taken when test systems deviate from the laboratory’s established performance specifications.
Provide assistance to the Laboratory Technologists as needed.
Responsible for handling documentation requirements
Outsourcing and overseeing of sample reception area.
Providing administrative support to the laboratory team
Ensuring accuracy and proof-reading any company documentation prior to registering the data in the software
Entering and updating client data where required using the proper software.
Registering non-conformities related to pre-analytical steps.
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
Other duties as assigned or needed. Preferred Qualifications Associate degree in related fields is preferred.
More than 1 year of experience in the same or similar role in a laboratory.
