Molecular Laboratory Technician (Bilingual) Position Available In Miami-Dade, Florida

An innovative and fast-growing clinical research organization is seeking a detail-oriented Lab Technologist with a strong background in molecular biology . This role focuses on laboratory processing and molecular diagnostics, particularly PCR-based methodologies , supporting translational and clinical research efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform sample preparation and processing using molecular biology techniques, with a strong emphasis on PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) . Support daily operations of the molecular lab, including sample tracking, quality control, and documentation. Assist in the development and validation of molecular assays in accordance with clinical research protocols. Maintain accurate and timely data entry, contributing to study documentation and regulatory compliance. Work closely with research and clinical teams to ensure effective communication and workflow. Ensure adherence to lab safety protocols and regulatory guidelines (e.g., CLIA, CAP). Communicate with both English- and Spanish-speaking colleagues, clients, or study participants as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Clinical Laboratory Science , or a related field. Minimum of 1-2 years of hands-on experience in a molecular laboratory setting , ideally within a clinical research or diagnostics environment. Proficient in PCR techniques , with familiarity in nucleic acid extraction and quantification. Strong organizational and documentation skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish . Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
