Lab Technician 2.0 2.0 out of 5 stars Clearwater, FL 33762

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Work from procedures, specification sheets, and other associated documentation. Conduct Marking Permanence Testing using solvents and abrasion techniques to validate authenticity of part markings according to AS6081, AS6171 and/or other standards. Perform Delid/Decapsulation on plastic and ceramic packages using appropriate chemical, Kiln oven or mechanical methods while preserving die integrity for analysis. Operate and Maintain Non-Electrical Equipment such as microscopes, hot plates, ultrasonic cleaners, X-ray systems & tools. Prepare Components for advanced analysis, including die inspection, SAM (Scanning Acoustic Microscopy), and X-ray, XRF, ensuring parts are handled and staged correctly. Handle and dispose of chemicals safely and meticulously. Verify that the supporting documentation matches the parts to be tested. Complete all associated documentation requirements and signoff the testing acknowledge fields as required. Follow ESD guidelines and requirements and other precautions and procedures as required. Help Maintain a Clean, Organized, and Audit-Ready Lab Environment. Contact appropriate lead, supervisor or manager for any issues or concerns and the need for additional material and supplies. Perform or assist with any operations, as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules and quality requirements.

Other Duties & Responsibilities:

Comply with all safety policies, Safety Data Sheets (SDS) practices and procedures. Comply with all quality and ITAR policies, practices and procedures. Education/Experience:

High School Diploma or GED 1-3 years of experience preferred Basic SDS experience preferred Previous working experience in an ESD setting preferred Basic computer skills including Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
