Job Description

Titration Technician

The Titration Technician will be responsible for performing routine and non-routine titrations and other chemical analyses on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure they meet established quality standards. This crucial role directly supports our client’s commitment to delivering high-quality products to their
customers.

Responsibilities:

Perform accurate and precise titration assays (e.g., acid-base, redox, Karl Fischer) according to established standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Prepare and standardize titrant solutions and other necessary reagents.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of all tests performed, observations, and results in laboratory notebooks and electronic systems (e.g., LIMS).
Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation, including automatic titrators, balances, and pH meters.
Perform routine equipment calibration and quality control checks.
Assist in the investigation of out-of-specification (OOS) results and participate in corrective and preventative action (CAPA) initiatives.
Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized laboratory workspace.
Contribute to the development and revision of SOPs and test methods.
Collaborate effectively with other members of the Quality Control team and other departments.
Assist with inventory management of laboratory supplies and reagents.

Qualifications:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
Proven experience (2 + years) performing titration techniques in a quality control or analytical laboratory setting.
Strong understanding of chemical principles and laboratory practices.
Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting titration equipment.
Excellent attention to detail and meticulous record-keeping skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and/or ISO standards is a plus.
Experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) is an advantage.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $20.00 – $22.00
