The Jun Zhao Lab studies the interactions among innate immune response, cellular metabolism and cell proliferation. When you join our team, you will be part of a supportive caregiver family that will be united in shared values and purpose to fulfill our promise of being the best place to receive care and the best place to work in healthcare. •A caregiver in this position works 8:00am – 5:00pm.•A caregiver who excels in this role will: + Participate in daily research project activities. + Plan, organize, perform and monitor daily project protocols. + Collect, prepare and maintain required research documentation, including informed consent records, case records, clinical notes and medical reports. + Report and assist with managing protocol deviations, adverse events and other project-related issues. + Be responsible for the general maintenance and upkeep of the lab. + Order and purchase supplies, gather information on new equipment and recommend purchases. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + High school diploma or GED. + Four years of experience in a research or related laboratory environment. + An associate’s degree and three years of experience, a bachelor’s degree and two years of experience or a master’s degree and one year of experience may substitute the experience requirement. Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + Bachelor’s degree with undergraduate lab experience. Physical Requirements:

•+ Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods + Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment + Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information + Ability to distinguish color + Manual dexterity to handle specimens and repair equipment + Ability to lift and transport equipment or specimens weighing up to 20 pounds + May be exposed to hazardous chemicals, bio-hazards, radioactive materials, etc. •
