Analytical Lab Technician Position Available In Volusia, Florida

Analytical Lab Technician Job Description This role involves performing analytical testing, laboratory investigations, and analytical method transfers at an OTC drug manufacturing facility. The Lab Technician will report directly to the QC Supervisor and may also be tasked with additional duties as assigned. Responsibilities + Perform raw material, in-process, and release testing using various analytical techniques such as UV-Vis, IR, HPLC, GC, AA, titrations, and viscosity analysis. + Demonstrate technical knowledge of chromatography and bench chemistry. + Utilize computer skills proficiently, particularly in Word and Excel, with LIMS experience considered a plus. + Apply basic statistics to compare data trends. + Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, and exhibit strong interpersonal and team-building skills. + Maintain excellent organizational, problem-solving, prioritizing, and follow-up abilities. + Manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Essential Skills + Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or a related science field. + Working knowledge of cGMPs applicable to laboratory environments. + Proficiency in HPLC, GC, and wet chemistry techniques. + Strong verbal and written communication skills. + Problem-solving capabilities, including root cause analysis. + Basic statistical knowledge. + Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately. + Flexibility to work occasional off-shift and weekend hours. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in the pharmaceuticals or food & beverage industry is advantageous. + Preference for candidates with a degree in Chemistry. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 – $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
