Job Description

Lab Technician Job Description The Quality Control Lab Technician will be responsible for accurately labeling chemicals, calibrating equipment, conducting pH testing, sampling blends, and testing tablets. The technician will release blends for packaging and may eventually handle raw material inventory, including sampling and testing. The role involves detailed data recording and entry into an ERP system. Responsibilities Label chemicals correctly and calibrate equipment. Conduct pH testing, sample blends, and test tablets. Release blends for packaging. Pull samples of powder from the warehouse, label samples, perform tests, and record information. Enter data into the ERP system, print labels, and issue releases. Release raw materials by inventorying, counting, turning lot numbers, pulling samples, and conducting tests. Maintain and update laboratory databases, ensuring data integrity and consistency. Conduct product performance and field testing. Approve, hold, or reject products based on laboratory analysis and specifications. Ensure compliance with current regulatory requirements and GMP guidelines for data reporting. Prepare validation protocols, generate raw data, and produce final reports. Reexamine borderline results and research technical literature for process improvements. Multi-task between projects to meet various completion deadlines. Recommend testing parameters, complete experiments, and project work as assigned. Provide analytical and technical support for quality-related product investigations. Complete data reviews for out-of-specification test results and issue SPC charts of historical results. Optimize and recommend lab improvements to support 5S initiatives. Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills BS in a Scientific Field 0-1 years of laboratory experience. Basic chemistry knowledge, including PPE, data input, scale usage, pipettes, analytical balances, force gauge, pH meter, and calipers. Experience with sample labeling and working in a quality control lab. Experience supporting

ISO 9001

regulations (a plus). Open to candidates with administrative backgrounds interested in starting a career in a lab. Work Environment The position operates in a laboratory setting, with duties extending to the warehouse as needed. Work hours are Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
