Job Summary The primary responsibilities of the Weld & Mechanical I/Polymer Testing Technician I are assisting specialist in conducting analysis and sample preparation. Technicians also conduct some routine tests that require some data interpretation. Duties and Responsibilities Conduct sample preparation and assist in performing tests.
Perform maintenance of the lab equipment
Update chemical and equipment inventories
Other duties as assigned Qualifications Required Education/Experience High School or AA in Science
0-3 years’ experience in a material testing laboratory environment Necessary Skills Problem-solving skills
Good verbal and written communication skills; strong organizational skills
Working knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), maintain Lab ISO and process Safety procedures.
