Laboratory Technician I:

Works following laboratory and chemical safety guidelines and escalates safety-related issues. Maintains working schedule with positive attitude and provides a minimum of 48 hours notice for time off. Proactiveness in staying productive and takes initiative in looking for ways to contribute between tasks or studies. Fabricate contact lenses or performs other repetitive tasks daily in a lab following a detailed manufacturing process (lenses will be made manually by hand and/or with semi-automated equipment).
