The Nexus Pain Center offers spinal-focused interventional pain management using the Boston Scientific Spinal Cord Stimulator and Stryker Radiofrequency tools, as well as nonsurgical options for pain and nonopioid medical therapies for those over the age of 18. These specialists pride themselves on their ability to give their patients the best care and service. The Laboratory Scanner/Collector is responsible for converting paper-based laboratory documents into digital format while ensuring accuracy and clarity. In addition to scanning, this position includes specimen collection.

Hours:

M-T:

7:30am to 4:00pm,

Fridays:

7:30am to 1:30pm

Responsibilities:

 Convert physical laboratory documents into digital images  Manage and organize laboratory requisitions and results in a systemic manner  Navigate and access patient charts for scanning documentation  Prepare and collect laboratory specimens for laboratory analysis and testing  Complete laboratory requisitions based on urine drug screening schedules  Comply with all applicable safety requirements including the use of personal protective equipment  Other duties as assigned

Knowledge and Skills:

 Proficiency with scanning equipment and basic computer skills  Ability to work independently with minimal supervision  Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills  Excellent written and verbal communication skills  Possess notable skills in working with various electronic platforms and computer systems such as eClinicalWorks (ECW)

Education/Experience Required:

 High School Diploma/GED  One year experience in a clinical setting
