The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting laboratory tests, documenting results, and ensuring accuracy in medical testing procedures. Duties Perform laboratory tests including DNA isolation, RNA extraction, PCR, and CT assays Utilize aseptic techniques to handle samples and maintain sterile conditions Manage laboratory equipment and ensure proper calibration and maintenance Conduct phlebotomy procedures when necessary Document and report test results accurately Adhere to quality control and safety protocols in the laboratory setting Qualifications Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) Proficiency in laboratory techniques and procedures Experience with DNA isolation, RNA extraction, PCR, and CT assays is preferred Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation Knowledge of laboratory management practices Ability to work effectively in a team environment Excellent communication skills for interacting with healthcare professionals and patients
