Laboratory Technician Pop-Up Talent 505 Shire Parkway, Social Circle, GA 30025 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in laboratory techniques and a passion for science, particularly in the fields of microbiology and molecular biology. This role is essential for supporting laboratory operations and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities Conduct laboratory tests and experiments following established protocols to ensure accuracy and reliability of results. Utilize various laboratory techniques to analyze samples, including microbiological assays and molecular biology methods. Maintain and operate laboratory equipment, ensuring all instruments are calibrated and functioning properly. Document experimental procedures, results, and observations accurately in laboratory information management systems (LIMS). Adhere to current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP) to maintain compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve laboratory processes. Assist in the preparation of reagents, solutions, and culture media as needed for experiments. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the laboratory environment, following safety protocols at all times. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific field such as biology, microbiology, or veterinary technology is preferred. Familiarity with veterinary terminology is advantageous. Proficiency in laboratory techniques including but not limited to microbiology, molecular biology, and clinical laboratory practices. Strong mathematical skills for accurate data analysis and interpretation. Experience with laboratory information management systems (LIMS) is a plus. Knowledge of animal physiology is beneficial for understanding experimental contexts. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Join us in making a difference through science!
